Classy, Elegant and Understated - I love these shoes. They're classy, elegant, understated. And in my opinion, they look a lot more expensive than they actually are. I've worn them with a JNY skirt suit with a long skirt and they looked great; I've tried them on with dress pants too and they look really nice. I bought the black softy. I find that they're a slightly snug fit but not horribly uncomfortable to wear (which is saying a lot for my size 12Ws). My feet are sensitive after years of having to settle for shoes that don't fit; now, I refuse to put up with a lot discomfort and Carmel is more than tolerable. As an added bonus, I find that they make my feet look neat and somewhat petite! I think that they'll accommodate my feet nicely the more I wear them without losing their shape, because of the elastic on top. I've worn them twice and on both occasions I wore them all day - once with hose and once without. I did find that there's some of kind of arch cookie which, in the left shoe, was a little bothersome at first. However, on the second wearing it wasn't nearly as noticeable. I'm now considering buying them in another color.
