I have very narrow feet and the width was good, but the sling strap was so tight it forced my feet up into the front. I normally wear an 8N in Cole Haan's, but the 9N was the right length. Sadly I am returning.

After walking city streets in these boots for two days, I have concluded that their value is primarily decorative. They are as comfortable as a pair of bedroom slippers, but also as supportive (which is to say, not supportive at all). They are great-looking boots. They do provide excellent arch support (one reason I wanted these boots) as previous reviewers noted. But the soles are so thin that walking in these boots is like walking in soft-sole moccasins. Walking on concrete sidewalks in these boots is not comfortable. If the surface I was walking on had any irregularities, like small pebbles or bits of broken glass, I could feel them through the soles. Also, on the second day that I wore them, it was colder than the first, and my feet felt cold. The main reason I wanted a pair of boots was to have something to keep my feet and legs warm in cool weather! If there were a decent sole on this boot and they kept my feet warm, they would be perfect, because they look great and do support the arches. I can't return them because I wore them outside, so I am going view them as a fashion accent for some time when I go out and want to look good and won't be doing much walking.

After three years of looking, casually, for a great looking and very comfortable pair of dressy black shoes without a high heel, I found these! They fit all my requirements and look and feel great. The inside padding is perfect and I have not had to supplement it with inserts as I have with most other shoes. True to size for my medium width feet. Highly recommend these.

After reading all of the wonderful reviews, I thought that I would pay the high price for these flip flops. What a mistake! I'm not sure I can trust the good reviews on this site after wearing these uncomfortable slabs for the last week. Out of the box they felt fairly comfortable but very heavy. The leather straps were very rough on the edges and needed a few days to break in. The arch support was mediocre at best. I had been wearing them for just over a week before I couldn't take it anymore. Due to their excessive weight, the straps stretched out causing them to be very loose on my feet and difficult to walk in. I switched back to Reefs for half the price, half the weight and double the arch support. Even my old Sperry's were more comfortable than these.

After my daughter wore these only twice, the seem in the back started to come apart. I was able to hand stitch it back together but am really disappointed in that since they were only days old and a bit pricey. After having total knee replacement I needed to walk without a walker or cane. It was difficult because I would limp. After 1 year, still my favorite Mary Janes! I got these about a year ago and have been incredibly pleased with them. I walk a lot during my work day, and they have managed to keep my feet comfortable and looking nice. I'm horrible about cleaning or polishing, and thankfully these shoes have required very little maintenance to continue looking nice. They've served me well with business attire as well as dresses and skirts. My only complaint is that there aren't more colors available. If I could, I'd buy one pair in every color!

A great shoe for little boys - I bought these for my son who is 16 months old and they are just adorable. They look great with everything from jeans to dressier pants. We live in the North so once snow starts falling; his feet will be nice and protected from the colder temperatures. They are also very well made with a nice non-slip rubber sole that helps keep my wobbly toddler on his feet.
