Beautiful shoe, hard to fasten - This is a beautiful shoe. However, it is difficult to crisscross to fasten to the velcro. It is one strap too short. I would not recommend to someone who has trouble bending their fingers. Not the shoe if you suffer with arthritis. Also the color is described as silver it is more pewter.

Beautiful shoes! I normally wear a 9 1/2 Cole Haan shoe, and based on the reviews I ordered a 9 in lacquer red. They are slightly wide. My feet slide forward and my toes hang over the edge a little, but I think they would slide even further forward in my normal size. They are so comfortable and pretty, though, that I'm keeping them! I think I'll try pads to keep my feet in place and they'll be just fine. I love Logohoo!

Beautiful Upper - Unhappy with look of Heel/Sole - This shoe was absolutely stunning from the top view - very flattering sexy on the foot...way prettier classier than you can see in the picture. I cannot say enough about how gorgeous they were - not to mention comfortable! They were exceptionally so. What I did not like is the way the rounded heel looked, to me, sort of granny-like with not enough height to accentuate the curves of the leg. I was very sad torn in my decision to return them because I loved the way they looked when looking down on the foot. I think these are very good quality shoes will look for them in a different heel by this maker - hoping Onex shoes will come up with a higher heel version.

Beautiful Sandal, but pricey - I'm still in sticker shock but this is a gorgeous sandal and it's quite comfortable. Only time will tell if it's worth the price - for what I paid, these shoes had better last me at least five years. The sizes run a bit small - normally I wear a 10.5, and I ordered the size 42 (11-11.5) and it's a snug fit. The 41 would definitely have been too small.

Beautiful and trendy boots! I had to return the boots and order a half-size smaller (I vary between wearing 9.5 and 10 in boots). However, they are really comfortable and did not smash my toes or bother my arch/heel (I have plantar fasciitis). The heel was surprisingly tall enough to elongate my legs in skinny jeans. I bought these for a skirt, but you can easily wear them with jeans and still look polished. There is just "enough" heel (I can't walk in very high heels). Lastly, I had them shipped to my office. I got three compliments as I tried them out around the office!

Bad for Wide Toes - My feet very wide and bony in the toe area (aka - I have bunions), but are otherwise normal. In an effort to get the toe area of the shoe to fit, I ordered wides - to no avail! Back in Mephisto Again! At last, Mephisto has designed a walking shoe with a roomy, oblique toe box! The leather is as soft as the finest kid glove, and the lining is Gore-Tex. My slim, flat feet measure between 6-1/2 and 7, but I have always worn an 8M (with a thick Thorlo sock) in Mephisto. After bunionectomies, I wore Mephisto Rush and Holiday for years and walked everywhere with no foot problems. Suddenly, my feet changed and these two models began rubbing painfully on my big toes at the outer edges of the nails. It was only then that I realized Rush and Holiday had rather pointed toes (and I don't). So I had to junk about a dozen pairs three years ago and have been searching for a comfortable pair of stability walking shoes ever since. And I have junked many good brands (Ecco, Brooks, Cole Haan, New Balance, etc.) because they just didn't fit well. Based on limited trials, I think Orfea may be the Mephisto of my dreams, but I won't know for sure until I walk a couple of miles nonstop wearing them. Orfea does not seem to have as cushy a sole as Rush, so I placed a foam pad in the metatarsal area under the removable insole. Even wearing a thick sock, I lace the shoe to the max (as with Rush), but the heel fits well and doesn't slip. I'm not sure whether the arch support is comparable to Rush, but the arch feels better with the Thorlo sock than with a low Foot Joy golf sock. The test will be whether my arches ache and my ankles pronate and hurt on long walks. I worried about the Gore-Tex lining being too hot. While it seemed so with the less padded golf socks, it seems fine with the thicker Thorlos. In the photo, the Orfea looks a bit bulbous. On the foot, the shoe seems much sleeker. It's fine for casual wear and appears well made.

Awfully cute but extremely uncomfortable. First of all, they run small. No arch support whatsoever! The shoe is very narrow. But they do look awfully cute and are very well done. I wish they were more comfortable. :-/ They definitely look like no other shoes in the same gladiator style and will be noticed, but alas I have to return them...sigh.
